How to configure Multi Sales Pipeline  

The Multi Sales Pipeline is a visual representation of your sales process that shows where your customer is in the buying process.

Scenario: Say you have different sales processes for inbound and outbound sales, you can create separate Pipelines, with different Sales Stages for each pipeline.

For example, In the Opportunities module, Let’s create 2 fields as Pipeline and Sales Stage, for that Pipeline will be accessible in the “Source Field” drop-down menu 
and For the Sales Stages will be accessible in the “Target Field” drop-down menu and the list of Sales Stages specified for the selected in the 'Pipeline' will be displayed in the “Target Field”. 


How to configure Multi Sales Pipeline?

 1. Create Source Field.

  1. Go to Main Menu > CRM Settings > Module Management > Module Layouts & Fields. 
  2. Select the Opportunities Module from the "Select Module" drop-down.
  3. Click on the "Add Custom Field" button.


  4. Create custom field form will popup, Select Field Type from a drop-down list as Picklist field type.
  5. Provide field name in the Label Name field as "Pipeline". 
  6. Provide the Picklist Values in the Picklist Values Field as Inbound and
    Outbound
  7. To assign the picklist values to the role(s), Enable the "Role-Based Picklist" checkbox.

  8. Click on the Save button.


 2. Create Target Field.

  1.  Click on the "Add Custom Field" button.



  2. Create custom field form will popup, Select Field Type from a drop-down list as Picklist field type.
  3. Provide field name in the Label Name field as Sales Stages. 
  4. Provide the required Picklist Values in the Picklist Values Field.
  5. Click on the Save button.



 3. Create Picklist Dependency.

  1. Go to CRM Setting > Configuration > Picklist Dependency.
  2. Click on Add Picklist Dependency.


  3. Select the Opportunities Module from the "Module" drop-down.  
  4. Select the Pipeline Type field from the "Source Field" drop-down.
  5. Select the Sales Stages field from the "Target Field" drop-down.


  6. A neat user-friendly table exhibits all the available values for Source and Target Picklist fields and columns’ headers are the sources field value followed by target field values.


  7. Select the essential target values, once selected, they get marked by a tick and blue highlight for ease, and the values in white are unselected.
  8. Click on the Save button. 



    As a result When you enter the details of the Opportunities and you choose Picklist Opportunity Pipeline as "Inbound", and the Sales Stages will appear only configured values.
